2025 Adult Summer Leagues: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

WODS Summer Leagues – Registration Now Open!

Join us this summer for one of our three adult leagues! Whether you’re new to Ultimate or looking for a competitive game, we have a league for you.

Summer League Options 

• Tuesdays: Recreational/Intermediate Mixed 7v7
• Wednesdays: All-Skill Mixed Hat League (Individual Registration)
• Thursdays: Intermediate/Competitive Mixed 7v7

All leagues start at 6:30 PM and follow US Ultimate Rules. Games are played at Kiwanis Park, Kitchener.

League Details

 Tuesday Recreational/Intermediate Mixed 7v7

• Season: May 20 – August 26 (14 weeks) – No games on July 1 (Canada Day)
• Format: Co-ed 7v7 using Gender Rule A (ABBA Format)
• Registration: Team or Individual sign-ups available
• Game Length: 2-hour games starting at 6:30 PM
• Cost: $1190 per team ($1290 after May 1) or $85 per individual ($90 after May 1)

Individual registrants will be placed on a team. If there aren’t enough players to form a full team, you can opt for a weekly open pick-up game or receive a full refund.

 Wednesday All-Skill Mixed Hat League

• Season: May 21 – August 27 (15 weeks, split into three 5-week sessions)
• Session 1: May 21 to June 18 (5 weeks)
• Session 2: June 25 to July 23 (5 weeks)
• Session 3: July 30 to August 27 (5 weeks)
• Format: Co-ed (gender ratio & format 4v4/7v7 TBD based on attendance)
• Registration: Individual sign-ups only (teams reshuffled every 5 weeks for balanced play)
• Game Length: 2-hour games (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
• Cost: $65 for all three sessions or $25 per 5-week session

 Who should join? All skill levels welcome! This league is focused on learning, skill-building, and balanced competition.

 Thursday Intermediate/Competitive Mixed 7v7

• Season: May 22 – August 28 (15 weeks)
• Format: Co-ed 7v7 using Gender Rule A (ABBA Format)
• Registration: Team or Individual sign-ups available
• Game Length: 2-hour games starting at 6:30 PM
• Cost: $1275 per team ($1375 after May 1) or $90 per individual ($95 after May 1) 

Individual registrants will be placed on a team. If a full team cannot be formed, you can opt for a weekly open pick-up game or receive a full refund.

What’s Included?

• League play for 5-15 weeks (depending on your league)
• A chance to compete, build skills, and meet new people!

How to Register

• Sign up at zuluru.wods.ca/events
• Deadline: Registration closes one week before each league starts (or when full).
• Payment: Please e-transfer your fee to treasurer@wods.ca after registering.

Membership Requirement

• All players must have a 2025 WODS Membership ($10, purchased separately here).
• Your membership covers all WODS leagues and events for the year.
• Already a Winter Friday 4v4 player? You already have a membership—no need to buy another!

Team Uniform Incentive – Get $10 Back!

• Teams that include the WODS logo on their jerseys will receive $10 per uniform (up to $150 per team).

Captains’ Information

• Captains’ Meeting: All team captains must attend a pre-season meeting (or send a representative).
• Looking for Players? Captains can request a list of individual players to add to their teams—especially for the Tuesday League.
