WODS will be offering youth programming for another 6 Sundays for the Fall of 2026!
This program is intended to introduce and develop youth in ultimate frisbee in a fun and safe environment, and help prepare athletes for the new year. Activities will be appropriate for beginners and more experienced players, with a high ratio of coaches to youth: we intend for everyone to have a tailored experience. All programming is offered in accordance with provincial regulations for youth sport.
Format:
• One 6 week session on Sunday afternoons:
• Bantam: ages 9-13, 3:00-4:30pm (48 spots, 6 teams, 4v4)
• Juniors: ages 14-18, 1:00-3:00pm (36 spots, teams TBD)
• Parents with (any level of) ultimate experience sought as coaches! This will give you $20 off your registration.
• November 1 - December 6
• Location: Laurel Heights Secondary School, 650 Laurelwood Drive, Waterloo.
• $60 per player if you have a reversible WODS tank top. If you don't have one, you can get one for $40 extra. That is $5 off the un-subsidized cost of $45!
• Fee assistance is available for players who would like to participate in WODS’ youth programming but who may not have the financial means to do so. Please contact Jon, our president, at president@wods.ca for more information.
