Camping Info

Once again we present the cheapest accomodations anywhere for Oktoberfest! We have the RIM Park Field House, an indoor soccer field with premium (slightly less uncomfortable) turf, open for camping Friday and Saturday nights. The cost is $10/person/night.

If you are coming Friday evening, there will be a check-in table inside Benchwarmers (the sports bar just inside the main entrance to the RIM Park building). We need to know you are coming, so you get your wristbands. No wristbands = no entrance to camping.

Wristbands for the Saturday night party at Karlsberghaus will be sold at the HQ tent all day Saturday.

If you bring a tent it cannot be staked. Don't worry, there's no wind inside the building.  ;-)

No food or beverages are allowed in the Field House, except water.

The hall lights are left on, but the Field House lights are off. It is generally dim overnight in the actual camping area. Some may want to bring an eye-mask.

Only 1/3 of the Field House will be set aside for camping. Be aware that there may be soccer or other activities on the other portions until midnight.

The changerooms/showers/washrooms are directly across the hall.

Saturday morning and Sunday morning the Field House must be cleared so that the day's soccer/etc. can proceed. You will have to pack up and store your equipment for the day.
