Saturday June 20 will see the Grand Opening Tournament at the new Chicopee Disc Golf Course. This is a PDGA-sanctioned event, open to pros, amateurs, juniors and recreational players. Come out as a player or a spectator. But make sure you come out. It will be awesome!

Ready for some regular, weekly disc golf action?  Chicopee will be running weekly league nights on Tuesday nights at the new course.

There are two changes of note that will be part of the 2009 Summer Leagues.  A new Spirit of the Game system and a new Fair Deciding Mechanism.

It's finally here!  The Chicopee Disc Golf Course is now open for business, as of Friday May 15.  18 baskets are in the ground.  Some "fine-tuning" work will continue through the coming weeks, but the course is in great shape and ready for play right now. The front nine is fully signed.  Signs will be installed on the back nine early next week, but the scorecard and course map you will receive when you check in at the Guest Services desk will guide you through the entire layout without problem.

This year three of the 4 mixed divisions were taken by teams from KW and Liquid won the tournament!  Also, PPF took second place overall in the Womens tournament, I believe they narrowly lost to Lotus in the final.  Congratulations to Liquid, PPF, The Company and Crisis; way to represent the region!
