The Soggy Bottom Bowl VI: Earth, Wind and Mire will be happening May 1st and 2nd in the beautiful city of Guelph. This is a CO-ED AND WOMEN'S DIVISION tournament and the entry fee is $300. For more information or to register contact Mike at mikeATguelphultimateDOTca with the subject line "soggy".

Kiwanis Park Reminders:

Drive slowly (< 40 km/h) in the Kiwanis community
Park in the grass lot past the gate (avoid using the gravel lot outside gate)
Park close together to maximize parking
Pick-up all garbage (whether it's yours or not)
Cursing is unacceptable!

Lightning

An easy-to-remember rule to follow if you see lightning - it's called the 30-30 rule.

If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning, then the lightning is far enough away that you can continue to play your game. If the lightning is 'closer' than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
The second 30 refers to 30 minutes. You should wait for half an hour until after the last lightning is observed before resuming your game.
