Hi,

WODS captains using HappyTC to run their teams can use a handy feature:

HappyTC automatically syncs up with the LeagueRunner schedule
Whenever a game is added/updated in LeagueRunner, HappyTC adds the game to the team schedule and invites all the regular players (including game date, location etc.)

This feature is heavily used by teams in Toronto (TUC.org) and Ottawa/Carleton (OCUA.ca) which are also LeagueRunner shops.

(It's built in the latest versions of LeagueRunner, thanks to TUC guys Richard Krueger for implementing and Greg Schmidt for enhancing. I think WODS is probably on the latest version of LR...?)

Lightning

An easy-to-remember rule to follow if you see lightning - it's called the 30-30 rule.

If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning, then the lightning is far enough away that you can continue to play your game. If the lightning is 'closer' than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
The second 30 refers to 30 minutes. You should wait for half an hour until after the last lightning is observed before resuming your game.
