Partner

Hi,

Just wondering if we are able to select one person we'd like to be partnered with for the tournament.  I heard that you usually can stay partnered with someone during it but didn't notice any spot on the registry for that.

Thanks,

Christa

Partner Requests

One of the purposes of the tournament is to meet other players you may not have otherwise.  Certainly for our Fall Hat League we encourage partnering with another person for carpooling purposes but as this event is a single day and all games are at the same location we didn't feel the need to include a partner option.  If you have special roster requests (like ensuring that you are on the same team as someone else,) let me know at jon@wods.ca and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Carpooling?

Anyone heading to the tournament tomorrow interested in sharing a ride?  I'm heading from around Weber and Victoria in Kitchener, and could stop by anywhere in between, or could use a ride there.

Cheers,

Kareem

Great work by Jon Hines to

Great work by Jon Hines to put together a fantastic end of season hat tournament.  Lots of pizza, Freezies, prizes, and great ultimate with great people.  It seemed like everyone had a good time, even despite the brief but torrential downpour in the afternoon.  Kudos to all who soldiered on in the rain.

On to fall league!!

Additional Thanks

Thanks to everybody who helped with the tournament.  I believe that WODS works well because the KW disc sports community works together well.  A special thanks is due to to Duane Chris for running the Disc Golf portion of the tournament and ton of work on tournament day.

Finally, thanks to everyone that attended and helped to provide a great day of ultimate!
