Hi everyone,

The University of Waterloo team needs volunteers to help drive them to their games on Tuesday nights. As environmentally-conscious citizens, we would normally take the bus, but since there is no such option in proximity to the park grounds, we need your help! If you plan to drive to games on Tuesday nights and have the car space to fit an extra strapping young male or female, please contact irvinc@gmail.com. As an added incentive, any carbon based vehicle that you donate to our cause will be held against our team if it so happens that we are playing against you on that particular day.

Lightning

An easy-to-remember rule to follow if you see lightning - it's called the 30-30 rule.

If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning, then the lightning is far enough away that you can continue to play your game. If the lightning is 'closer' than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
The second 30 refers to 30 minutes. You should wait for half an hour until after the last lightning is observed before resuming your game.
