Competitive Scene

We are having one weekend of tryouts on April 25-26. The location is to be determined. If you are interested in coming out, please send me an email with your experience level, preferred position and I'll include you in my mass email next week regarding location and what to expect.

If you are interested in PPF and can't make the tryout weekend because of other tryouts or commitments, we may be able to set up an alternate tryout date.

Our tryout schedule in a nutshell

Saturday morning approx 10am-12- skills and drills (maybe scrimmage)
Saturday half hour break- food break
Saturday afternoon 1.5/2hour scrimmage
Saturday night- bonding for everyone- theme night - chemistry is important in a successful, fun team

Sunday- 10am-12pm - scrimmaging
Sunday 12:01pm - home time!

Even if you are planning on playing on another team, I encourage everyone to come "tryout" and see how great women's ultimate truly is!

Lightning

An easy-to-remember rule to follow if you see lightning - it's called the 30-30 rule.

If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning, then the lightning is far enough away that you can continue to play your game. If the lightning is 'closer' than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
The second 30 refers to 30 minutes. You should wait for half an hour until after the last lightning is observed before resuming your game.
