FOSSIL 2009: Masters Division
Our team will be carrying a roster of about 25-30 competitive level Ultimate players.
Our goals are to qualify for Nationals in Winnipeg, make it to the semis, and win a medal.
Fossil had a successful CUC 2008 showing in Calgary taking home a Bronze Medal and improving on our 5th place finish from the previous Nationals in Toronto in 2007.
Fossil will again make low demands on your time and will NOT be holding weekly practices, so we expect players to stay in top shape on their own throughout the season.
Ideally, our roster will be comprised of experienced competitive level players who have had past touring experience and can catch on quickly to make up for our lack of weekly practices. We will have a few training camps, which will be held on a Saturday or Sunday in Toronto.
Fossil Schedule:
- Tryouts: Saturday May 23rd (Toronto)**week after long weekend**
- Training Camp 1 (Saturday June 13th Toronto)
- Training Camp 2 (Saturday July 11th Toronto)
- No Borders: July 25th to 26th (Ottawa)
- Regionals: TBD
- Training Camp 3: Saturday August 8th (Toronto)
- CUC 2008 Nationals (August 13-16: Winnipeg)
