2009 Crisis Tryouts

Crisis is a coed touring team that emphasizes both competitive play and great spirit. Last year we played in numerous tournaments across Ontario (e.g., Northern Flights, TUF, London Calling, Legends, Stall Fall, to name a few). We finished a close second at FrizbeePalooza and won the spirit award (check out the WODS photo gallery archives for pictures of our daytime and nighttime disc skill). We also won best worst drink at Gender Blender guaranteeing us a spot again at one of the craziest ultimate parties anywhere.

One of our goals this year is to play at Regionals and take a shot at making it to Nationals in Winnipeg.  Weekly practices will focus on individual/team skill development, strategy, and cardio/core fitness.

Tryout days will be (possibly Tuesday April 28th), Thursday April 30th, Tuesday May 5th, Thursday May 7th. Location to be announced. Tryout times are from 6pm to 8pm. Final cuts will be made after our first tournament, the Toronto Ultimate Festival (TUF) May 9th weekend.
