Additional remediation has been done to the sideline (by the triangle) on Field 4.
It looks like they worked to level the area out but it will need a good rain to break up the heavy topdressing they put down. It is advised that captains shift the applicable sideline in 5 - 10 feet and pick up those lost feet by pushing the other sideline towards the berm. Feel free to use discretion and modify the field layout as necessary so that everyone is comfortable. If we get a good rain soon, it should break things up and the sideline will improve.
A topdressing application of the remaining fields is expected in the coming week.
Field 4
I would add that it won't always be necessary to push the far sideline over towards the berm. These fields are full-sized fields. Historically, we have always played on much narrower fields than this. Narrowing Field 4 by 5 to 10 feet on just the problem side still provides for a 37-yard wide field -- still wider than what we have ever played in any previous year.
