Fingerblast (or Fingerbang) has found fame in Fergus. No, the team did not win Gender Blender, nor did they win the Disco Dance Off, but they did make it into the Fergus - Elora News Express. Recognized for playing an underwear only point and a creative spirit game, the reporter said of Fingerblast "One thing is clear – there’s no such thing as too much fun when it comes to this group." Kiwanis Park Reminders:
- Drive slowly (< 40 km/h) in the Kiwanis community
- Park in the grass lot past the gate (avoid using the gravel lot outside gate)
- Park close together to maximize parking
- Pick-up all garbage (whether it's yours or not)

Lightning
An easy-to-remember rule to follow if you see lightning - it's called the 30-30 rule.
- If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning, then the lightning is far enough away that you can continue to play your game. If the lightning is 'closer' than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
- The second 30 refers to 30 minutes. You should wait for half an hour until after the last lightning is observed before resuming your game.
