Changes to the schedule

Winter League

Please note that the following changes have been made to the schedule in order for the ‘snowed out’ games to be played. LeagueRunner has been updated to reflect these changes. Thank you for your cooperation.

March 18th

Ultimate Pirates and Sharks 2 will play at 2100. Spanish Inquisition and Monkey Steals will play at 2200. Sharks 2 and Fantasmic will play their missed game at 2200 on CDD4.

March 25th

Sharks 2 and Monkey Steals will play at 2100. Disc Pigs and Pirates will play at 2200. Sharks 2 and Bernoulli will play their missed game at 2200 on CDD4.

April 1st

Sharks and Cheeklowaga will play their missed game at 2200 on CDD4.

NOTE: Scores to be reported under ‘snowed out’ games.

Kiwanis Park Reminders:

Drive slowly (< 40 km/h) in the Kiwanis community
Park in the grass lot past the gate (avoid using the gravel lot outside gate)
Park close together to maximize parking
Pick-up all garbage (whether it's yours or not)
Cursing is unacceptable!

Lightning

An easy-to-remember rule to follow if you see lightning - it's called the 30-30 rule.

If you can count thirty stalls after you see lightning, then the lightning is far enough away that you can continue to play your game. If the lightning is 'closer' than thirty stall counts, you should immediately discontinue play and seek appropriate cover quickly.
The second 30 refers to 30 minutes. You should wait for half an hour until after the last lightning is observed before resuming your game.
