Pull for a Cure - Aug 25, 2007

The fourth annual Pull for a Cure Ultimate Frisbee tournament to raise funds for cancer research through the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, will take place Saturday, August 25 at Markham District High School, in Markham, Ontario. This tournament is in honour of two of the tournament organizers’ fathers – Jacobus Christiaanse and Roland Dodson – who both passed away from cancer in the last few years. Last year, this successful tournament raised more than $13,000 for cancer research, and over the last three years, we’ve raised more than $36,000.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and we anticipate approximately 20 teams participating (about 10-14 people per team). Our goal is to raise close to $15,000 through pledges and corporate donations.
