There is a disc golf tournament on June 16 at Mohawk Disc Golf Course in Brantford. The tournament includes a recreational division for beginner golfers. For more information, contact Mike Yuhasz (mikeys3gs"at"rogers"dot"com). Mike is also available for a visit to the Mohawk course this Saturday (June 9) for a warm-up game before the tournament.

Congrats Christopher Giesler
A big Congrats go to our very own Christopher Giesler, for placing 3rd in the AM2 division at the Brantford Disc Golf tourney. This was his first Disc Golf Tourney and he played all 40 holes terrific and came out with the Closest To the Pin prize as well, a choice of Disc from the pile of disc's. I believe for finishing third Chris recieved a $55.00 prize payout for merchandice and an ice cream voucher at a local store in Brantford! I had the pleasure of playing my first round with Chris and was able to see his form has greatly improved and he is reallly throwing well and was able to relax under the tourney pressure and place well in the groups.
