As a result of the massive turnout to Liquid and Quicksand tryouts this year, and the interest expressed by additional players, there will be a third touring team established for this season. This team will not have formal practices, but will have periodic clinics and assistance from Liquid and Quicksand.
The primary aim of the team will be development of touring-level skills and strategies. It will be a great opportunity for any who are interested in elevating their ultimate play. The team will attend some of the closer tournaments in Ontario, like London, Collingwood, Toronto, etc., so time and travel commitments will be manageable. There are already enough players lined up to enter this Saturday's (May 26) Mayday tournament right here in Waterloo!! But there is still room for more.

It's truly a testament to the fantastic growth and interest in ultimate throughout Waterloo Region that we are able to support three touring teams. Congratulations to all who participate.

It's been very exciting. I only started sending out initial emails yesterday and by the end of the day we had two full lines. Hopefully more people express interest as we'd love to have even more teams next year.
