Hey guys,
just got my "ultimate news" in the mail which had interesting info on the new rules, including the following website which helps clarify them.
Some of the changes they highlight include the following:
When a pick is called, all players return to where they were when the call was made (or when the throw went up, if the disc was thrown). After that, the picked defender then moves to regain the relative position lost due to the pick. Furthermore, if a picked defender did not have a play on the disc, the disc stays with the receiver! (XVI.C.4; XVI.I.3
A disc is generally checked in at the site of the infraction. What this means is that if there's an uncontested receiving foul in the endzone, the disc is checked in at the spot o the foul, after which everyone is free to move and the receiver can carry the disc to the endzone line and put it in play. (XVI.H.3.b(2); X.C.)
Marking violations (disc space, fast count, double team, and vision blocking) can now be calle an UNLIMITED number of ties during a stall count, without stopping play. (XIV.B) (they must be called by name and it becomes a stopped playif you call violation on the second occurence of a marking violation- see the following for more infoo: http://uparules.blogspot.com/2007/02/marking-violations-part-1.html
Acknowledging a GOAL: This requirement has been removed. In addition, if a player catches a pass in the endone in which they're trying to score, but doesn't realize it and throws an incomplete pass, any player with best erspective can overrule the turnover and awardthe goal. HOwever, if opposing layers who both have best perspective can't agree on the call, the turnover stands (XI.A; XI.C)

so much reading...
so this blog spot is really good... here's the page on contested stalls. They come in at "StallingEight" now, and sometimes even "StallingSix" depending on the situation:

Summary Documents
It is certainly going to be interesting getting everyone up to speed on the 'new rules'. On the WODS rules page, there are a couple of links to documents that overview the significant changes between the 10th Edition and the 11th Edition. Check out the file links at the bottom of: http://www.wods.ca/node/6
Thanks
